I make complex systems boring again. Senior backend and platform engineer with 12+ years of experience fixing, stabilizing, and scaling real-world software. I work on existing systems—legacy platforms, migrations, and data-heavy backends—that need to be reliable, predictable, and maintainable. I've built and supported software across startups, SaaS, and defense environments, with a focus on reducing risk and making systems easier to live with over time.

What I work on

Backend & platform stabilization

Fixing and hardening existing systems: legacy codebases, migrations, performance issues, and technical debt. My focus is making systems reliable, predictable, and maintainable.

Data-heavy and operational systems

Working on pipelines, background processing, and operational infrastructure where correctness and durability matter more than novelty.

Internal tools (engineer-facing)

Building pragmatic admin and operational interfaces that support debugging, monitoring, and workflow clarity. I don’t do customer-facing UI or design-led frontend work.

End-to-end when it matters

I’ll work across the stack when it improves system behavior, but my primary value is backend and platform reliability.
